is a 60 minute drive from Mitchell; has five passenger airline carriers arriving and departing out of the airport on a daily basis; United Express, Northwest, Delta, Allegiant Air, and America West. Health Facilities

Avera Queen of Peace consists of several medical facilities dedicated to providing health care for Mitchell and the surrounding counties. The newest addition to the medical center is the Avera Queen of Peace Cancer Center. The center employs over 700 people and receives help from over 150 volunteers.
